Background of
LSCM in Supporting eMedication Data Connectivity

The eMedication Data Connectivity represents a critical milestone within the overarching eHealth+ initiative. Its development is pivotal for enhancing the functionality of the Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHealth) by seamlessly integrating drug-related healthcare services.

The primary objective of eMedication is to streamline the delivery of medication-related services across various healthcare providers, thereby significantly bolstering patient safety and advancing primary healthcare development.
Logistics and Supply Chain MultiTech R&D Center (LSCM), is engaged by the Health Bureau, in collaboration with Hospital Authority IT, to facilitate onboarding for Healthcare Providers and IT System Vendors/IT Teams. We provide relevant guidance and support services to streamline their application and preparation process for sharing medication-related data with the eHealth. As part of this endeavour, LSCM recognises the imperative of developing a user-friendly web platform to serve as an effective hub for disseminating information, managing applications, and providing essential resources to applicants for data connectivity.
