and Other Preparation Procedures

The Residential Care Home (RCH) IT system vendor need to implement eHealth Medication Data Standards and fulfil system interfacing specifications to ensure accurate interpretation and use of data downloaded from eHealth. The RCH IT System must also apply an eHR testing account and pass all test cases on data download.

The RCH IT system must also achieve the required security standards and implement the procedures for handling data obtained from eHealth.

The RCH and RCH IT System must devise adequate internal security policies and procedures for handling data obtained from eHealth to provide approved healthcare purposes. To fulfil the requirements, an independent Security Risk Assessment and Audit (SRAA) should be carried out, and the report should be sent to eHRO.
