RCHs and IT vendors should register as eHealth healthcare providers (HCP) to access and obtain residents' data from eHealth.

HCR Registration
The RCH should assist their residents in registering as eHealth Healthcare Recipients (HCR) and obtaining their consent for RCH to obtain data from eHealth for approved healthcare purposes.

Privacy Matters
The RCH and RCH IT System should devise adequate internal policies and procedures for handling data obtained from eHealth to provide approved healthcare purposes. As part of the requirements fulfillment, the RCH and IT vendor should carry out an independent privacy impact assessment (PIA), and the report should be submitted to eHR Office.
